Logistics real estate company, Logicor, has begun work on refurbishing its 22,000 sq ft unit at Lawnhurst Trading Estate, in Stockport.

Logicor is a London-based European warehouse and logistics company. As at December 31, 2021, it owned a portfolio of 598 properties with a lettable area of approximately 13.7 million square metres.

Unit 16 at Lawnhurst Trading Estate comprises an 18,600 sq ft warehouse and 3,400 sq ft of office space, which are expected to be available to rent in the fourth quarter of this year.

Both spaces will be fully redecorated with LED lighting throughout, replacement cladding and insulation, and new level-access doors.

The enhancements will also include the installation of an air source heat pump and cooling system, and EV charging points.

Positioned in an established industrial area, Lawnhurst Trading Estate is strategically located close to junctions one and two of the M60 motorway, nine miles south of Manchester city centre.

James Carney, Logicor’s senior asset manager, said: “We are excited to start work on the full refurbishment of Lawnhurst Trading Estate, bringing the property back to life to provide high quality, sustainable business space for this established industrial location.”

JLL and Sanderson Weatherall have been appointed as joint letting agents for the scheme.
