A Liverpool training company has invested £450,000 in new facilities at its Aintree site.

Gas, electrical and plumbing training firm HybridTec announced the expansion at its 11,000 sq ft North Liverpool training centre, including a new 3,100 sq ft green academy.

With this latest phase of growth the training provider will now have capacity to serve more than 1,000 businesses, with plans to now accommodate 80 candidates per day, with courses provided in gas, plumbing, renewable energy and electrical for existing trades people, as well as those who wish to start a new career in these industries.

Having serviced more than 680 businesses throughout the past 12 months, HybridTec will further be able to collaborate with businesses throughout the Liverpool City Region and beyond, with in excess of 150 qualified apprentices graduating already from HybridTec.

Managing director, Sophie Park, said: “It is testament to the skills and expertise of our team that we have been able to expand our offering at our Liverpool HQ, and with capacity to now grow further, it is certainly an exciting time.

“Opening our new green academy allows us to work with hundreds of more apprentices and businesses.

“As a learning provider we will continue to pivot to fit the needs of professionals and career changers alike, providing course options to help meet any career goal.”
