Lancashire Cricket strikes new partnership with Inspiresport
A new sponsorship deal has been announced by Lancashire Cricket.
The club has entered a partnership with Inspiresport, as the official development tour partner of the club and Emirates Old Trafford.
As part of the partnership, Emirates Old Trafford will become the hub for Inspiresport cricket tours in the UK with access to behind the scenes experiences such as stadium tours, the club’s indoor cricket centre facilities, expert coaching and the on-site Hilton Garden Inn hotel.
Since 2004, Inspiresport has been taking young people on a unique journey, igniting their dreams through the power of sport and providing sports development tours for schools and clubs.
Designed to develop skills and confidence in youngsters no matter their ability, Inspiresport’s tailored sports development tours to the UK and Europe offer professional coaching at some of Europe’s top professional clubs and federations. This agreement will also see Lancashire Cricket and Inspiresport work collaboratively on tours involving Lancashire Women, Lancashire Cricket’s Academy, and the Lancashire Cricket Foundation – the club’s official charity.
Daniel Gidney, chief executive at Lancashire Cricket, welcomed the opportunity to continue a growing relationship with Destination Sport by adding Inspiresport to the family of partners.
He said: “Inspiresport offer fantastic experiences to young people, and we look forward to hosting a tour here at Emirates Old Trafford in the future.”
Steve Butchart, managing director of Inspiresport, said: “We’re excited to share details of our new partnership with Lancashire Cricket. As our cricket proposition grows both domestically and internationally, partnering with Lancashire Cricket seemed an obvious choice as an iconic badge within world cricket.
“With fantastic training opportunities alongside the club’s coaches and great facilities to match, we’re looking forward to bringing our groups into Manchester to experience everything Lancashire Cricket, and the city, has to offer.”
Inspiresport is part of Destination Sport, which boasts five sports travel companies in the group, helping millions of customers to enjoy sport, including Sportsbreaks.com, which will be familiar to Lancashire Cricket supporters.
Sportsbreaks.com holds naming rights for the exclusive Sportsbreaks.com Terrace at Emirates Old Trafford.
