Architecture practice launches in-house digital services and graphic design division

An example of the design work

Liverpool-based architecture practice Studio RBA has launched a digital services and graphic design division.

The new entity will provide high quality digital imagery and branding for clients’ planning and marketing documents.

Two new members of staff have been recruited and work is already under way for a number of the practice’s clients.

Managing director, Kenny McNaughton, said: “Our clients assume considerable financial risk bringing projects through planning and out to the market, and high quality still and moving imagery, brand identities and collateral are all vital to engaging and enthusing key audiences along the way.

“By bringing this resource in-house we can guarantee quality and cost effectiveness whilst ensuring that our own architectural vision is properly reflected in the work.”

Ahmed Sharif and Dawid Miturski have joined the Royal Albert Dock-based firm and will support Adam Morgan, who will head up the division in parallel with his role as architecture director.

The division’s services will include provision of computer-generated images (CGIs), interactive walk-throughs, brand identities and supporting marketing collateral.

Ahmed Sharif, senior CGI artist at the firm, said: “Whether our clients are selling their vision to funders, planners or end users, the ability to bring it to life in a way that excites and engages people is critical.

“Our work offers pin-sharp, photo-realistic imagery that goes a notch or two above what has been seen before.

“We’re also able to design and produce brand names and identities and printed marketing collateral, too. It’s a full-service offer and one to which clients have responded very positively.”
