Digital pioneer signs five-year lease at 42 Fountain Street

Digital investment company Proxymity has taken a 3,805 sq ft suite on the fifth floor at 42 Fountain Street, in Manchester, signing a five-year lease.

Starting as a young scaleup business, Proxymity has rapidly grown to become a key digital investor communications platform, serving more than 25 markets world-wide.

The company wanted a central Manchester office space that could fuel its future expansion and attract new talent.

Mia Daldry, head of people at Proxymity, said: “We were looking for bigger space that would accommodate our future growth plans and formally establish our Manchester base. We know this is key for both our existing team and when attracting new talent to the company. We also wanted a space we could brand and identify as Proxymity and 42 Fountain St has met these requirements well.”

Matt Pickersgill, associate director at Avison Young, said: “Proxymity are a very exciting and forward thinking business and will make a great addition to 42 Fountain Street. During their decision-making process the enhanced CAT A fit-out on offer really appealed.

“We were, however, more than happy to work with them and incorporate a fully bespoke furniture pack in order to present a high quality turn-key solution which met their requirements.”

This latest deal with Proxymity now leaves just two suites remaining in the building with one now under offer. The last available suite provides a turn-key solution with a private kitchen and breakout area, meeting rooms and high quality furniture pack.

The building also boasts contemporary wellbeing facilities including a fitness suite, cycle storage, showers, changing facilities and a drying room.
