Deal done for key Trafford Park warehouse site

Acting on behalf of Cannt Pak, Davies Harrison has sold The Works, a 49,846 sq ft warehouse in Trafford Park, to DB Shenker for an undisclosed sum.

Situated on Mosley Road, Cannt Pak acquired the former TDG Logistics warehouse 20 years ago.

When it became vacant last year, it demolished the existing building to speculatively build a high quality, ESG-driven facility .

Rick Davies, of Davies Harrison, said: “This property proved to be very popular with interest coming from investors, owner occupiers and potential tenants.

The popularity of this warehouse is testament to the relentless demand for good quality accommodation in Trafford Park – which remains one of the UK’s most sought after industrial destinations – and the lack of opportunities currently available.”

He added: “In the end, our client chose to run with DB Shenker and we were able to complete the deal in only four weeks, which was a great result for all parties involved.”

CBRE was the joint agent for Cannt Pak. Andy Lynn, of DTRE, acted on behalf of the purchasers.
