Retailer relocates to bigger HQ premises to match growth plans

New Coronet Way HQ

Home and commercial appliances specialist, For Everyone Group, has relocated to new headquarters as part of its expansion plans.

The group, which encompasses AFE Distribution, CoolMed, evec, and Ship It Appliances, has moved from Trafford Park to 8 Coronet Way, Salford, which was previously occupied by Manchester brands, Beauty Bay and Missguided.

It supports the company’s ambitious growth goals by improving storage and delivery capabilities that will facilitate increased customer demand and revenue growth.

CEO, Stephen Johnson, said the company is in an exciting phase and the transition is a significant step forward, cementing its commitment to a long term future in the region: “This is a huge move for us that provides a consolidated platform for our portfolio of market-leading brands to grow.

“We’re excited by the larger warehousing space, as well as improved delivery capabilities, that allow us to continue to delight our customers.”

He added: “Our business is evolving rapidly, and our incredible team will continue to be the reason for our success. We’ve invested heavily across sales, operations, logistics and marketing to build our team from nine in March 2021, to 68 today to meet the needs of our growing customer base.

“These new premises create an inspiring, collaborative space to expand further, and we’re working to increase the team by another 20% before the end of the year.”

The group is an industry disruptor and has driven significant growth since its origin as OEM Appliances in 2003.

It said it prides itself on bringing unparalleled affordability and market-leading brands to a range of customers, while supplying UK and international markets with home and commercial appliances.

Built by Stephen’s father, Brian Johnson, the business began designing and manufacturing home appliances for British brands.

The company’s newly-formed brand, AFE Distribution, creates a dedicated distribution arm for the group.

CoolMed has been supporting the healthcare sector since 2017 by manufacturing and supplying medical-grade fridges at low prices. The brand was recently identified as one of the UK’s 100 most disruptive and innovative start-up businesses in the Start Up 100 Index.

The evec brand is a provider of affordable electric vehicle charging solutions, with more than 10 years’ experience in EV product innovation.

Ship It Appliances was acquired in 2021, expanding the company’s experience as a manufacturer and reseller of household appliances. Its reseller arm includes brands like Bosch and Hotpoint and SIA.

As well as creating greater storage space, the group’s new premises at Coronet Way have been chosen to provide an immersive showroom experience for each of the group’s brands, to support content and the growth of the company.

Mr Johnson said: “We’re looking to an exciting future at Coronet Way, and to cementing our position as a market leader and employer of choice for the Greater Manchester region.”
