Liverpool cocktail bar relocating to Liverpool One, with seven-day 3am licence

MOJO's Back Berry Street premises

A cocktail bar with a seven-day 3am licence is moving into the Liverpool One retail centre.

MOJO, currently located on nearby Back Berry Street, is relocating towards the end of August to Hanover Street. The move will lead to eight new jobs.

After 15 years at its current location, the bar will upgrade to a larger two-storey 3,500 sq ft venue with longer opening hours, from midday until 3am seven days a week.

The the new MOJO Liverpool will offer a menu of more than 100 cocktails, beer pong, cocktail masterclasses, and bottomless brunch. The move will enable the bar to offer a second-storey private bar space for events or parties.

Its unique pizza menu will feature dishes inspired by iconic musicians, including a ‘Sgt. Peppers’ pizza, while live Sky Sports will be available to watch, with special offers redeemable on matchdays.

MOJO managing director, Martin Greenhow, said: “After 15 years of killer tunes, awesome cocktails and late night dancing on the bar, MOJO Liverpool will temporarily be turning down the volume as we leave Back Berry Street at the end of August 2023. But the party won’t end there, as we’ll be opening our new site at Liverpool One just a few days later.

“Our team have carefully crafted a venue right in the heart of the city centre that will continue MOJO’s legacy of music for the people, food for the soul and good times forever.”

MOJO is a national chain, featuring sites in Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, Nottingham, Harrogate and Sheffield.
