Gulliver’s World invests in expansion

WARRINGTON-based Gulliver’s World, which is investing millions in upgrading and expanding the theme park, has unveiled the latest addition to its new £500,000 SplashZone attraction.
Gulliver’s Mickey Mouse Club House – a Disney-style soft play area for young children – is based on children’s TV programme The Mickey Mouse Club House.
It is the latest investment in a £4m two-year expansion plan unveiled last year by the theme park company, which also operates parks in Matlock Bath and Milton Keynes.
A 90-bed hotel, costing £3.2m is also due to open at the Warrington site next year.
Managing director Julie Dalton said: “This latest stage in our investment and expansion plans provides a solution for parents with children of different ages. The Mickey Mouse Club House gives them somewhere to take toddlers while older ones enjoy SplashZone.”
