Liverpool-based civil and structural engineering firm, Sutcliffe, secured more than 10 new framework deals in 2023, which involve contracts worth more than £1bn.

Recent wins include the awarding of the ForHousing Development Consultants Framework, which is worth a total of £70m. As part of this project, Sutcliffe will deliver structural engineering and ground investigation services on more than 500 new homes across the North West.

Additional framework wins include projects with South Yorkshire Housing Association, in which Sutcliffe has been appointed to its Structural Engineering Panel, and with First Choice Homes New Living Development Consultants, where Sutcliffe will help to deliver more than 700 housing units in the next four years throughout Oldham and Greater Manchester by providing civil and structural engineering services and technical and site management.

The company has also been awarded a place on the £300,000 University of Sunderland framework as preferred suppliers for civil and structural engineering consultancy services. The framework is for an initial two years, with the potential for a two year extension.

Sutcliffe CEO, Sean Keyes, said: “In 2023 we were fortunate to have been successful on numerous frameworks, and to be given the opportunity to expand our portfolio.

“Our recent wins reaffirm our commitment to providing quality housing and support to local communities in the North West and exemplify our dedication to regional growth and development.”

He added: “We take pride in our contribution to significant regeneration and development initiatives across the UK and as we continue to establish ourselves as leaders in civil and structural engineering, we are approaching this year full of confidence and optimism.”
