Innovative businesses invited to enter our Business of the Year Awards

For many decades the North West economy has been the driving force for innovation.

From healthcare, life sciences, advanced manufacturing to tech, cities including Manchester and Liverpool have helped the North West create a strong reputation as a place for innovators.

Thanks to a strong and thriving ecosystem and dedicated science and innovation districts including the Oxford Road Corridor, ID Manchester, and the Knowledge Quarter, the region is booming with exciting innovative businesses.

This year’s North West Business of the Year Awards will celebrate those businesses.

Last year Medtrade Products of Crewe was awarded winner of the Innovation category of the year for their life saving CELOX technology and recent global introduction of CELOX PPH to address one of the leading causes of maternal mortality worldwide.

But though there won’t be a specific category for innovation this year, the judges will be looking for examples of companies which have successfully disrupted their own business or industry to create a more exciting future.

The awards, which are being backed by headline sponsors CMS, PwC, RBC Brewin Dolphin, and Robert Walters, launched earlier this month.

There is just one working week to go to submit your entries and be part of the North West Business of the Year Awards in 2024.

The entry deadline is Friday, March 15, so check out the awards website – businessoftheyearawards.co.uk/#northwest – to find out more and download the simple entry form.
