Law firm on the move to new city centre offices
Full-service law firm, Forbes Solicitors, is relocating its Manchester city centre team from Church House, on Deansgate, to to 1 Balloon Street.
The new space will provide a base for Forbes Solicitors’ 26-strong Manchester team.
The Balloon Street office is furnished with phone booths, generous communal space, and unlimited barista-quality coffee, as well as having a large roof terrace, showers and bike storage for staff.
The firm has been based in Church House since 2005. This announcement comes on the back of news the firm has agreed a 10-year lease for four floors at Gordon House in Preston, expanding its space from 8,000 sq ft to 32,000 sq ft to accommodate around 200 of the firm’s team.
Managing partner, Pauline Wild, said: “The new office at Balloon Street shows our commitment to the Manchester market and providing the best possible facilities for our team and clients in the city.

Forbes has 10 offices across the UK. The firm employs nearly 400 people and has 59 partners across a range of specialisms.
It has made a number of significant hires into its Manchester team in recent years and will continue to build on these foundations.
Forbes advises a wide range of Manchester clients ranging from entrepreneur-led businesses such as Cress, a sustainable children’s clothing brand, and Northcoders, the provider of coding bootcamps to a number of local authorities across the city region.
