Expanding digital agency relocates to business district hub in growth plans

A West Lancashire digital marketing agency has relocated to Liverpool as part of its growth strategy.

Resident North has moved from Ormskirk to The Plaza building on Old Hall Street, in Liverpool’s business district.

For the female founders of the business – which prides itself on being ‘Northern-born, internationally recognised’ – the switch to Liverpool was the logical next step in the agency’s evolution.

Creative director, Linzi Hunter, a co-founder of the business with Aycan Demirci, said: “It was a natural time for us to make the move to Liverpool. The Plaza has recently become a destination address for a large number of aspiring, ambitious businesses like ourselves.

“It reflects the direction we’re heading in as an agency. We’re growing fast and so is Liverpool’s digital sector. It’s the perfect match, and we’re excited for the future.”

Aycan Demirci said: “Everyone thinks of Manchester as the Northern Powerhouse of the digital industry but Liverpool has been making massive strides in this area.”

She added: “Coming here was a no-brainer for us. We’re unashamedly different and do things our way, just like this amazing city and its people have always done.”

Resident North said it is on track for rapid expansion over the coming years. The new office is home to a multi-disciplinary team that is made up of senior level digital marketers with expertise in creating innovative digital marketing campaigns that drive dramatic growth for businesses.
