Planning approval for new transformational logistics and industrial development

A new 108,553 sq ft logistics and industrial development, proposed by Peel Waters, has been approved by Salford City Council.
Located off Liverpool Road in Eccles, the scheme will completely transform and redevelop the current brownfield site, which has previously been used as a waste recycling facility into a well-connected employment zone.
Peel Waters and its instructed team, which includes AEW, Langton Development Services and WSP, has designed the development to be split across eight units ranging from 4,338 sq ft to 39,460 sq ft, providing a range of industrial and logistics space to suit and attract a variety of businesses.
The approved site has also been designed to a Grade A specification and will be aiming for a BREEAM Excellent rating.
The scheme, named Halo West, has been designed to make full use of its strategic location next to junction 11 on the M60, allowing future users of the site access within minutes to the motorway ring, and from there the major aerial routes of the M62 and M6.
