Come and hear the remarkable Arighi Bianchi story at our Family Business conference

There will be a limited number of places at a special Family Business Conference produced by TheBusinessDesk.com with partners Shaw & Co and Beyond Corporate.

This exclusive all-morning event will take place on Thursday 1 October at INNSiDE Melia Hotel in the centre of Manchester and will highlight the unique place that family businesses hold in the regional economy.

The North West Family Business Conference will highlight the unique place that family businesses hold in the regional economy.

Starting with a keynote address from Nick Bianchi from leading luxury furniture business Arighi Bianchi, this all-morning event will gather together family business owners and other professionals from across the region to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the vitally important sector.

Arighi Bianchi is still in family ownership and is based in the centre of Macclesfield. It was founded in 1854 by Italian immigrants Antonio Arighi and Antonio Bianchi who originated from the village of Casnate on the shores of Lake Como.

The North West Family Business Conference will be fully interactive, giving every delegate the chance to shape the conversation through a series of round tables – as well a panel discussion to summarise the morning’s conversation.

This exclusive event for family businesses will cover important issues such as how succession planning needs to take place sooner rather than later in any business, but especially so in a family owned company.

Prompted by Nick Bianchi’s inspiring story the event will also debate how to successfully integrate the best talent from outside the family, with family members, and how sometimes it’s best to let family members leave the business… and how to successfully reintegrate them at a later date.

We’ll also be encouraging debate about nurturing talent from within and giving the right job to the right family member, at the right time of their lives, while also achieving work/life balance in an environment when work life is also home life.

Starting at 9.00am and running through until 1pm, the event will be fully interactive, giving every delegate the chance to shape the conversation through a series of panel discussions and round tables.

There will be ample time for networking and lunch will be provided for all delegates.
