Latest evolution of Liverpool One’s South John Street embraces multi-brand retailer

TFG London has committed to one of is largest stores, yet, in a deal for 12,000 sq ft of retail space at Liverpool One.
Grosvenor, the property company which owns the city centre retail site, said TFG, the owner of Hobbs, Phase Eight, Whistles, and homeware retailer Inside Story, will open its multi-brand flagship store in a gateway location on South John Street next spring.
The store marks the return of all four of the brands to the city, and will be home to the quartet of TFG brands’ complete collections, including Hobbs’s timeless selection of luxury fashion, Phase Eight’s occasionwear ranges, and Whistles’ line up of contemporary womenswear.
Specialist collections, including bridal and petite ranges, will also be on offer, as well as a luxury styling suite for event shoppers.
And the store will house an Inside Story homewares department, boasting its extensive range of soft furnishings and home accessories.
Caraline Money, Global Retail Director of TFG, said: “We are thrilled to be returning to Liverpool with our new multi-site flagship store.
“Our new store strategy is focused on opening bigger and better stores in prominent shopping destinations like Liverpool, where we have built a loyal ever-growing customer base.
“The new store will enable us to showcase our full collection, such as petites and bridal, offering our customers the complete head-to-toe outfit suggestions for every occasion in our beautiful, enhanced store environment.”
TFG London’s selection of Liverpool One as the home of its multi-site flagship is the latest in a series of brand investments into South John Street.
This includes recent openings from the likes of fashion powerhouse, Zara, which unveiled the first stage of its significantly upsized store earlier this month.
Zara is set to launch its complete 42,000 sq ft store this December.

“Making their return to the city for the first time in five years, we’re excited to welcome Phase Eight, Hobbs, Whistles and Inside Story’s complete fashion and homewares offer, complementing our existing line up of top retail brands.”
The news also follows the opening of Liverpool-based Montirex’s first ever bricks and mortar store.
