After completing the successful IPO of the Liverpool-based business, he will have plenty of reflections on the process and insights about the strategic choices he has made.

He joins an already powerful and impressive line up of speakers including high-calibre private equity backed entrepreneurs such as Ruth Percival, Helen Oldham and Adrian Murphy.

Hot topics on the packed agenda include how to create success in tech, the art of building value in a growing business, and making the case for private equity and corporate finance professionals on the political stage.

Newsworthy speakers will also include Shru Morris, anointed successor to lead listed advisory business DSW, Dave Richards, founder of IntelliAM, who has a tale to tell about his experiences with tech business WANdisco, and Palatine founder Gary Tipper, who has this year pioneered a Growth Credit Fund.

Also appearing to set the political backdrop to the eventful year just gone will be Karim Palant, head of external affairs at the BVCA, and Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham.

We’ve listened to your feedback and have ramped up the networking opportunities throughout the day.

New for 2025 will be breakout rooms, networking zones and an executive lounge for you to take calls/catch up on emails.

Cap off a day of insightful discussions and knowledge sharing at the networking drinks reception. Share ideas, discuss the day’s takeaways, and develop valuable connections – this is your opportunity to connect with corporate finance industry professionals in a relaxed and informal setting.

The 2025 conference will feature more opportunities to network, to hear amazing speakers, to hear from inspiring entrepreneurs, but also to interrogate the challenges of value creation.

It’s being supported by Twisted Loop, BGF, Dow Schofield Watts, NorthEdge, Palatine, Shawbrook, Squire Patton Boggs, TDC, while PHD Industrial Holdings is a breakout room partner.
