Balloon hanger invention takes off

AN ENTREPRENEUR from Southport has signed a deal which he believes will take his ‘balloon hanger’ invention to new heights.
David Manning invented a device which clusters balloons together enabling them to be used more easily as decorations.
He has now signed a deal for an undisclosed sum with high street and mail order company Hawkins Bazaar which describes itself as a supplier of ‘things you never even knew existed’.
Additionally, balloon hangers now supplies to several leading online wholesalers and events companies in Britain and as far afield as Switzerland, Germany, Australia, Canada and the USA.
Mr Manning said: “I am currently negotiating a deal with a company in Japan and the product has reached the next stage with a major supermarket chain in the UK.
“The product was also featured at this month’s Nuremberg International Toy Fair and feedback has been very encouraging.”
Balloon Hangers come in two forms – the three balloon hanger for room corners and the eight balloon hanger for ceiling clusters.
Their ‘spring design’ allows for quick positioning and holds the balloons tightly in place, even as they begin to deflate.
