In Brief: Contract boost for TEG and Vphase

LANCASHIRE green recycling company TEG Group has picked up a contract worth up to £3m from the Waste Recycling Group.
he Preston firm said the contract will begin in the second half of next year and last until March 2015. TEG said the amount of money it receives will range from a minimum of £2m up to £3m, depending upon the volume of waste delivered over the period.
Chief executive Mick Fishwick said: “We are delighted to be working with WRG. The contract will further underpin our operations, will provide an additional new revenue stream and will pleasingly further cement our relationship with WRG”.

VPhase, the developer of energy saving products for residential and commercial properties, has received an initial order from an electrical distributor to supply 600 of its the VPhase VX1 product for a social housing scheme in Stockport.
Cheshire-based, AIM-listed VPhase said the contract for social landlord Stockport Homes’ environmentally friendly “SHINE” scheme was the first phase of a 1,200 unit project to install the VPhase VX1 units alongside solar photovoltaic panels (‘PV’) on 1,200 housing stock for Stockport Homes.
