M&S opens furniture outlet at The Lowry

MARKS & Spencer has opened its first furniture & home accessories outlet store in the region at the Lowry Outlet Mall in Salford Quays.

The company has taken a 5,885 sq ft unit on the ground floor of the development, which will offer discounted furniture and soft furnishings. The store will employ 12 people.

“We are delighted to be opening a furniture outlet store in at The Lowry Centre,” said Richard Fox, Head of outlet stores for M&S.

“The store is in a great location and will offer customers a range of high quality Marks & Spencer furniture & home accessories at great prices.”

Centre manager Robert Hallworth said: “M&S Outlet Furniture and Home Accessories has impressive performance figures, with a solid customer base.”
