Appointments: Co-op Pharmacy; Senior Hargreaves; Bridge & more

THE Co-operative Pharmacy has appointed Tim Davies as its new operations director.

Davies joins the business from primary care company Assura, where he was managing director of its pharmacy division. He has also held operational and general management roles at Boots.  

In his new role, Davies will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of The Co-operative Pharmacy’s entire branch network and its estate portfolio, including new branch openings and relocations.

He said: “This is an exciting time to be joining The Co-operative Pharmacy and I am delighted to be working for a business that is not only renowned for its ethical credentials but, as part of a wider group, presents such a range of opportunities.

TIM Hopkinson has been appointed chief executive of Bury-based ventilation ductwork specialist Senior Hargreaves.

Tim HopkinsonHopkinson joins from a Yorkshire mechanical and electrical contractor, said: “These are difficult times for the construction industry but we have an experienced board and executive team, a sound business with an excellent reputation and strong industry connections.

“There are unprecedented challenges, but I have no doubts that we are well placed to meet them and not only consolidate our position but grow as the economy improves.”

BRIDGE Insurance Brokers Limited has grown its property team with the appointment of Michael Regan to head of real estate.

Regan joins the Manchester-based broker from Cobra Holdings, where he was director of commercial and corporate broking. He has more than 34 years’ worth of experience in the industry.

He has been charged with growing the firm’s property offer. It already provides cover to property clients such as Bruntwood, Hurstwood and Opal Group as well as Individual Restaurant Company, Regatta and Flannels.

Bridge Insurance chairman, Roger Potts, said: “Michael is highly-regarded in the insurance industry and he will be a great addition to the Bridge team.”

CLEARWATER Corporate Finance has appointed Dom Clarke as a manager in its Manchester Office.

Dom Clarke of Clearwater Corporate FinanceClarke joins from educational technology company, Promethean, where he worked as a financial accountant during the company’s £400m IPO on the London Stock Exchange.

He had previously worked in the banking and securities audit group at Deloitte.

Mike Reeves, managing partner at Clearwater in Manchester, said: “This past year has been increasingly busy, with all of our teams actively involved in high profile transactions.”
