Winning Pitch wins two NWDA contracts

WINNING Pitch, which helps entrepreneurs and small companies develop their businesses, has won two contracts worth £160,000 to deliver mentoring services.

The company will now provide training to small and medium-sized businesses across Greater Manchester as part of the North West Regional Development Agency’s (NWDA) business mentoring programme.

Its ‘group mentoring’ initiative aims to bring together business owners to help them ‘break down barriers’.

The two separate contracts each last for two years.

Chief executive John  Leach said: “This is  an important contract win, as it helps to build our positioning in the skills arena.

“This is important to our future direction and strategy.”

As reported by TheBusinessDesk.com in February, Winning Pitch doubled its turnover in the year to September and moved into profit.

The Manchester-based business, which is listed on the Plus market, saw turnover rise from £1.3m to £3m while pre-tax profits came in at £66,253, up from a £243,490 loss last time.
