Galliford secures NW contracts worth £21m

GALLIFORD TRY, the Oxfordshire-based housebuilding and construction group, has won two contracts in the North West worth a total of £21.2m.
Warrington Borough Council has commissioned the company to carry out regeneration work at Orford Park.
The £16.5m contract requires the company to provide sport, health and community facilities at a former landfill site.
Galliford is also building a new mosque and two homes in Ashton-under-Lyne for the Markazi Jamia Mosque. The £4.7m job will start next month and should be completed by next summer.
Chief executive Greg Fitzgerald said: “We are delighted to secure these two projects in north west England which reflect the strength of our market position as one of the region’s leading building contractors.”
