DLA Piper boosts NW banking team
LAW firm DLA Piper has boosted its North West banking and finance practice with the appointment of John Delamere as partner in its Liverpool office.
The appointment of Delamere, from the London office of Shearman & Sterling, sees him return to the city of his birth. In his new role he will work with Manchester-based partner Matt Christmas with established banking clients and also developing the firm’s structured finance and derivatives practice.
He said: It’s wonderful to have the opportunity to move back to my home city of Liverpool, and to bolster the pre-eminent position of DLA Piper’s banking team in the region.
