Chester Grosvenor launches events venue

A NEW meetings and events venue has been launched at The Chester Grosvenor.

The Gallery is a recently-refurbished space on the first floor which has been redesigned by interiors specialist Jane Goff to provide a meeting place suitable for a working lunch, business meeting or breakout area.

The space is on the first floor landing of the hotel under the hotel’s  Georgian chandelier and contains tables with sofas and armchairs to seat up to 15 people, complimentary wi-fi and daily newspapers.

It is also next to the hotel’s executive boardroom facility. Joanna Schrenk, senior events coordinator, said: “The Gallery is another wonderful addition to what we can offer event planners when organizing a conference, board meeting or teambuilding day.

“We expect it will be used for small business meetings or by delegates as a syndicate space or relaxation area.

“As a venue it’s unique. After all how many meeting spaces are there with a chandelier with 28,000 crystals weighing half a ton, hanging overhead?”
