Liverpool Y Factor finalists announced

ORGANISERS of Liverpool’s Y Factor competition have revealed this year’s line-up of contestants.
The event will be held on July 8 at Panam in Liverpool’s Albert Dock and aims to raise more than £25,000 for learning disability charity Mencap.
It will see members of the Liverpool business community perform with a live band to an audience of more than 300 people.
Taking to the stage will be Jonathan Owen of Sutton Kersh; Louise Lunt of Canter Levin; Helen Redmond of Hill Dickinson; Robert Mcrimmon of Wilson Henry; Frank Mallon of HFM Consulting Engineers; Emma Devaney of Barclays Corporate; Catherine Evans and Alex Blythe of HBOS and Heather Tomlinson of Barclaycard.
All contestants will receive professional vocal coaching from Voiceability and River-media will be filming contestants before the event for the pre-performance clips which will be shown on the night.
A panel of high profile judges including Radio Merseyside’s Billy Butler; singer, producer and DJ Mike De Scala and vocal coach Andrew Stephenson will decide the winner, while Roger Phillips will be compere for the evening.
