Investec’s Manchester boss departs

THE head of Investec’s operations in Manchester, Richard Heggie, is set to leave the firm.

Mr Heggie, who headed Investec’s property lending operations, is set to leave the banking industry altogether.

A spokesman for Investec Specialist Bank said: “After eight successful years at Investec, Richard Heggie will be leaving the company at the end of February in order to pursue new challenges outside the banking sector.  

“Richard has played a hugely important role in overseeing the transformation of our Manchester business from start-up to a multi-service offering and we wish him well in his future career.”
