Byotrol "moving in right direction" says CEO

BYOTROL has said that revenues for the year to March 31 are likely to be in line with market expectations after sales improved during the second half of the year.
The Daresbury-based company is now expected to reach sales of £1.96m (2011: £1.93m) and to finish the year with a cash balance of £1.6m.
The firm also pointed to a number of operational highlights, stating that it had completed technical milestones required of it by a Fortune 150 partner and is now completing joint consumer research with a view to signing a deal in the second half of 2012.
The launch of an anti-microbial sanitiser range with Rentokil Initial, Ultraprotect, has also been achieved. This will be rolled out across Europe in the coming year, having already been launched in the UK, France and Germany.
Byotrol’s technology is also being used in products sold by PZ Cussons, the Mayborn Group (owners of the Tommee Tippee brand), Boots and Tesco, among others.
Byotrol CEO Gary Millar said: “Byotrol’s new commercial strategy is already generating more repeatable, sustainable revenues with key strategic partners.
“The trading performance and tight cost control shows that the company is moving in the right direction, and we look forward to further progress in the coming financial year.”
