EMS to run second schools tour

EVENT Marketing Solutions, has retained a key contract with the Department of Business to run a nationwide campaign in schools and colleges.

The Ellesmere Port-based company will run more than 2,500 school events as it delivers the Student Finance Tour for a second year.
 
The information campaign is to raise awareness of the university tuition fee reforms being introduced from this September.
 
This year’s tour is even more ambitious with a wider target audience that will include Year 9 students. EMS aims to double the activity achieved on the last tour, managing the schedule and logistics of 27 presenters to reach out to more than 410,000 students, carers and parents.
 
EMS recruited and trained a team of graduate presenters last year, and 10 of them will return this year to take on a mentoring role as well as provide additional support and advice out in the field.
 
A recruitment programme for another 17 presenters is currently under way.
