Appointments: Electricity North West’ Freshfield & more

ELECTRICITY North West has appointed Susan Stockwell as customer director.
 
She joins the Warrington company from Morrison Facility Services, where she held the position of director of corporate social responsibility, which included overseeing customer engagement.
 
Her responsibilities will include developing a strategy that ensures customers are regularly consulted about the services they receive, how they are delivered and what they should cost.
 
Steve Johnson, chief executive at Electricity North West, said: “Our customers are at the core of everything we do and it is our aim to ensure they are receiving an exceptional service from us and know how to reach us if they need to.
 
“Susan’s appointment is recognition of the importance we place on our customers and her strong background in customer services complements our existing team. We are delighted to welcome her to the company.”

LANCASHIRE PR and marketing agency has appointed its first business development manager after recruiting Mark Brennan from Bolton-based law firm Keoghs, where he was market development manager.

He has previously worked in business development team at North West accountants Moore and Smalley.

Freshfield managing director, Simon Turner, said: “As we mature as a business it is important we have focus on the key areas of our business. Looking after our current clients and winning new ones will be the core of our future success and Mark will give a consistent, measured and quality approach.”

Mr Brennan added: “I’m joining the business at a pivotal point in its development and looking forward to playing a key role in its growth. The economy is tough but there are still opportunities for ambitious and sustainable businesses.”
