Chamber’s comms chief Henthorne goes in shake-up

GREATER Manchester Chamber of Commerce has made long-serving communications director Sheena Henthorne redundant as part of a reshuffle.

Mrs Henthorne, who had worked for the Chamber – the largest of its kind in the country – for 14 years, left earlier this month.

Chris Fletcher, the organisation’s director of policy, has become director of policy and communications.

In a statement he said the chamber had made the decision following a review of its business.

“I am now heading up the chamber’s communications work along with my role as policy director,” said Mr Fletcher.

“Sheena has worked for our chamber for over 14 years and has made a valuable contribution to the company during this time.

“We wish Sheena every success in the next stage of her career and thank her for the contribution that she has made to the company during this time.”
