European trade on the agenda at Preston Guild

A EUROPEAN trade adviser will address Lancashire firms as part of the Preston Guild 2012.

Andy Mather, an information officer at Enterprise Europe Network North West (EENW) will speak at Preston Guild International Day on September 4.

The EENW was set up by the European Commission to encourage overseas trade.

Organisers say he will help business owners understand how exporting in Europe can be beneficial, and provide one-to-one advice and guidance.

Mr Mather said: “Andy said: “I believe that all businesses have the potential to trade successfully in Europe, and here at EENW, we have the knowledge and know-how to make that happen.

“Preston Guild has its origins in trade, with the original Guild Rolls allowing merchants to do business in the city. This event is a perfect opportunity to help business owners to recognise their export potential.”

To book an appointment for one-to-one business advice with Andy at the event, please call 0161 875 2324 or email andy.mather@eenw.org.
