Plant Hire UK to grow fleet with £1m

WARRINGTON-based Plant Hire UK has secured a £1m banking facility to increase the size of its fleet.

The business, set up seven years ago by managing director Graham Jones and finance director Wayne Illidge, has around 600 pieces of specialist equipment, such rollers and excavators.

The new funding line has been arranged with Santander Corporate Banking.

Mr Illidge said: “We were after a particular type of funding that isn’t widely available but Santander were able to provide us with a package that meets our needs.  

“We look forward to building our relationship with the team further as we continue to grow our business.”
