HE Simm bags orders worth £13m

LIVERPOOL-based engineer HE Simm has won £13m of business for its student accommodation division.

It will deliver mechanical, electrical and plumbing services at schemes in London, Leeds, Liverpool and Oxford.

The business employs around 145 staff and has an annual turnover of £25m.

Ocon Construction has hired it to work on its £50m, 1,200-bed Crown Place scheme in Liverpool, while Pochin has asked to it work on the Leodis 3 student accommodation in Leeds.

In Oxford it is working with Multibuild and Liverpool’s Downing Construction has hired it to work on a student scheme in Acton.

Managing director Gareth Simm said: “Our commitment to deliver on time, on budget and beyond expectation means we have built very successful partnerships with major national contractors and developers across the UK.

“This, together with our reputation for outstanding and innovative health and safety practice, means we enjoy a near 100% ratio of repeat business.”
