Laura on song to take talent prize
A NEW North West corporate talent show has crowned its first winner.
Laura Meredith Hoyle of Manchester law firm Lewis Hymanson Small was the inaugural Bridge to the Stars champion at a gala dinner in aid of the Bridgewater Hall Community Education Trust.
She was voted the inaugural champion of the corporate talent competition by the audience and judges after her rendition of Dolly Parton’s classic ‘I will always love you.’
BDO’s Craig Wright, Ashley Mellon of Cardinal Maritime Group and Jonathan Bell of the Co-operative Bank were runners-up.
The evening, sponsored by marketing company Journey 9 and law firm Freeth Cartwright, was hosted by Cole Page and featured entertainment from Coronation Street actress Catherine Tyldesley.
