155 homes planned for Cheshire Business Park

COMMERCIAL Development Projects has submitted outline plans for 155 homes on a 12.5-acre site at Cheshire Business Park near Northwich.

The business, a division of Elland-based construction group Marshall, previously secured planning permission to convert a separate piece of land at the park in Lostock Gralam to residential use following the slow-down in the take up of commercial property.  

The application has been handled by Manchester-based planning consultancy HOW Planning.

Associate Carol Clarke said: “This scheme has been developed in close consultation with the local community and parish council who have been very supportive and are looking forward to seeing this piece of land being developed.  

“It presents an ideal opportunity to assist the council with the delivery of new homes and will significantly contribute to meeting their five-year housing supply needs on what is a very sustainable site.”
