CVS targets London growth from larger office

CVS, the business rates appeals specialist, has taken a larger London office as it continues to expand in the capital.
The Trafford Park-based firm said it was part of its strategy for investment in new staff and infrastructure as it responds to the nationwide appetite for cost-saving business rates services.
From November, CVS’s London office will be located at Woolgate Exchange, 25 Basinghall Street in the City. The firm has taken on 21 new staff in London in the last three months.
Chief executive Mark Rigby said: “CVS is growing nationally as more and more businesses look for effective and professional advice on reducing their business rates bills. This investment in a new London office, and a larger platform for us in the capital, will help us to deliver even better services to our clients.
“It’s about strengthening our capability, increasing headcount in line with increasing client growth and underpinning the quality of service we offer.”
CVS was founded in 1999 and now employs more than 250 staff and works on behalf of 25,000 clients. It acts for occupiers across all commercial property sectors such as Soho House Group, Patisserie Valerie, Ascot Racecourse, Select, Go Ape, Persimmon Homes and Royal Liver.
