Knight Frank to manage Calico refurb

KNIGHT Frank’s building consultancy team has been appointed to project manage a major extension and refurbishment of Centenary Court, Calico Homes’ headquarters in Burnley.

The 16,000 sq ft property will undergo partial re-cladding, as well as a refurbishment and fit-out, converting the former ground floor public house and furniture store into offices.

The project team includes the contractors, Ring Stones Maintenance and Construction; architect Austin Smith Lord, and mechanical and electrical engineers, Cundall.

Simon Matley, partner at Knight Frank, said: “This is a large-scale refurbishment which will completely transform the property. We have a highly experienced project team on board and are working towards a completion date of May 2013.”
