Property News: Traveljigsaw signs up at Sunlight House, SES, GVA Dixon-Webb, Vantage Point

ONLINE car rental firm Traveljigsaw has taken 63,096 sq ft at Sunlight House on Manchester’s Quay St in a deal that is said to be the largest office letting in the city for over two years.
The business has signed a five-year lease at a headline rent of £16 per sq ft.
Meanwhile, existing occupiers St James’s Place Wealth Management, which has 14,100 sq ft, and Charles Stanley Group, which occupies 5,200 sq ft, have both signed new 15-year leases.
There have also been three further lettings totalling 5,000 sq ft to The Industrial Tomography Systems, Romero Insurance and Football for Football. The property’s occupancy rate now stands at 95%.
The building is owned by the Apia Regional Office Fund, which is managed by Aviva Investors and Warner Estate Holdings.
Asset manager Charlie Royle said: “These transactions are testament to the building’s central location and quality of accommodation. Our proactive asset management strategy, with improving facilities and refurbishment of several floors, has enabled us to attract new occupiers in spite of challenging market conditions.”
Apia’s letting agents on the building are OBI Property, Canning O’Neil and DTZ.
