m-hance goes for growth with Indian base

FAST-growing North West software company m-hance has opened a technical development centre in India.

The group, which has its headquarters in Bredbury, Stockport, will create 30 jobs at the new facility in Pune, which opened last week and is being led by marketing director Claire Carter.

The Indian office will support the firm’s product development plans – m-hance wants to launch more than 20 of its own new products in this calendar year.

Formed through acquisition in November 2011, Tech Track 100 listed company m-hance saw sales rocket 45% to £22m in 2012 following several new customer wins including Hewden and construction firm Kier Group.

m-hance currently has 240 staff from eight locations across the UK, Ireland and the United States.

Managing director Andrew Hayward, said: “2013 promises to be a very exciting one for m-hance as we envisage considerable opportunities and strategies for increasing our revenues from international markets.

“The opening of our new technical development centre in India is a key focus for us as we strive to deliver ongoing product and value enhancements to our customers, which include significantly investing in cloud, social and mobile technologies to meet their increased demands for greater efficiency.

“We are actively hiring the best talent in the UK and India to fill a variety of roles to complement our existing teams and share our considerable worldwide knowledge to continually improve our service offering. This will enable us to quickly extend our business in promising, untapped markets in order to maximise future growth,” he added.
