Appointments: DTZ; Journey9 & more

JOHN Keyes has been appointed to head DTZ’s Manchester office.
Mr Keyes, who joined DTZ in 2010, is the director leading the public sector consultancy team in the North West region.
He advises both regional and national clients including Manchester Metropolitan University, the Education Funding Agency and London Metropolitan University.
He said: “I am very excited to be taking on this role at the current time. Our team in Manchester remains highly experienced with key market leaders. Market conditions are improving and we are very well placed to grow our revenues across all our business lines over the coming years.”
The firm has also promoted Leeds office head Tim Cameron-Jones to lead it northern business unit.

MANCHESTER marketing agency, Journey9 has announced the appointment of Sophie Southworth as business development manager.
Strengthening the senior team, she is responsible for increasing the company’s client portfolio.
Managing director, Laura Wolfe, said: “2013 is shaping up to be pivotal year for us. The appointment of Sophie, together with a closer engagement with our US office, will contribute to the development of our UK business, now in its third year.”
Mrs Southworth, née West, used to work with Laura Wolfe at Out There Events.

LANCASHIRE law firm Marsden Rawsthorn, has appointed solicitor Catherine Hylton to its commercial property team.
The 32-year-old joins from Barnetts Solicitors in Southport and has eight years’ experience with Eversheds, DWF in Manchester and housebuilder Taylor Wimpey, where she was part of the in-house residential legal team.
Marsden Rawsthorn employs 80 staff across its two offices in Preston and Chorley.
