Expansion for I Love Cosmetics

COSMETICS distributor I Love Cosmetics has invested in a new head office in Old Trafford as it gears up for further international expansion.

The business, which already distributes goods to 55 countries, has moved from Salford to a 3,500 sq ft office at the City Park development.

The company had sales of £7.7m in 2012 and is owned by managing director James Brown and the Basso family, which includes Mike Basso who bought a collection of Ethel Austin shops out of administration.

Mr Brown said: “We have outgrown the former office facility, both from a space and a brand perspective, however we are firmly committed to continuing to invest in the North West as our favoured headquarter location.

“The new building will house all head office functions, as well as accommodating a suite of showrooms to showcase the latest product ranges.”

The company already sells to Europe, the US, Canada, the Middle East, Australia, New Zealand, the Russian Federation and certain countries in the Far East.

Its retail partners and distributors include Boots, Superdrug, Walmart and Shoppers Drug Mart.
