Property briefs: Hercules Park, Wok&Go, RLB

JONES Lang LaSalle and GVA have been appointed as joint letting agents for Hercules Park in Cheadle on behalf of landlords Property Alliance Group and Royal London Asset Management.

The 36,014 sq ft business park was completed in 2008. Units are available on a freehold or leasehold basis at £135/sq ft and £12.95/sq ft respectively.

Existing occupiers include NPS Stockport and claims handler WNS Assistance.

James Bottomley, surveyor at Jones Lang LaSalle, said: “Hercules Park continues to prove its popularity with businesses looking to relocate to the area. The recently built, well located, buildings provide an excellent location for small to medium sized firms.”

Richard Lace, associate at GVA, said: “We are delighted to have been brought on board with JLL to jointly dispose of the accommodation available at the park and we are confident based on current demand that we will be announcing the arrival of new tenants in the near future. ”

ASIAN food franchise Wok&Go has instructed Cushman & Wakefield in Manchester to begin a search to find 10 new restaurant locations as it looks to expand across the UK.

Founded in 2007 by former financial analyst Des Pheby, the chain offers a fusion of Thai, Malaysian, Chinese, Japanese and Indonesian food.

Wok&Go currently has two stores in Chester and the same number in both Liverpool and Nottingham, with a single store in Birmingham, Hull and Leeds.

Cushman & Wakefield said its search will focus on acquiring edge-of-prime retail units with A3/A5 planning consent, ranging from 800 sq ft to 1,200 sq ft in high footfall locations. There is an early requirement within London West End and Manchester.

Matt Illingworth, partner in Cushman & Wakefield’s retail team in Manchester, said: “Wok&Go is a premium quality brand that has established itself very well since opening its first store in Chester only six years ago.

“There is clearly widespread appeal of the product as a healthy and convenient hot food offer and Cushman & Wakefield are forward to working closely with Des Pheby and his team to secure locations which will enable this business to build on its success and extend its UK reach.”
