Energetix signs up 10,000 energy customers

GREEN energy firm Energetix said it has signed up 10,000 people to its Flow Energy business.

Flow launched to the home energy market on April 2 and claims to have the cheapest fixed rate tariff on the market.

Energetix, based at Capenhurst near Ellesmere Port, makes a combined heat and power (CHP) boiler for the domestic market and plans to offer it free of charge in return for customers buying gas and electricity from Flow for a fixed period.

However, on May 1 it warned investors it may not have enough funding to develop production quality boilers by the first quarter of 2014.

Tony Stiff, managing director of Flow Energy, said: “The speed and success with which we’re taking on energy customers has exceeded expectations, as has the performance of our customer systems and our people, who deserve special praise

“We’re providing a premium customer experience and great value, which we know is an extremely attractive combination. It’s the ideal preparation for the launch of our boiler business – happy customers, and lots of them; a strong brand with growing recognition; a team that, throughout the business, is 100% engaged with our success; and a strengthening proposition for shareholders.”
