Artez celebrates strong results

CONSTRUCTION company Artez has seen a five-fold increase in turnover to £1.96m and is on target to hit £2.6m in 2013.

Turnover increased to £1.96m  for the year to the end of November 2012, from £379,000, while profits showed an equally impressive 300% rise to £236,000  (2011: £58,000).
The company has increased full time staff from two to six and moved to larger premises in Bolton.
The company also expanded its client base during the year and schemes recently completed include Network Rail’s Victoria Station in London, the Odeon in Bradford and Mapeley Estates’ Albert Bridge House building in Manchester.
Mike Banton, who founded the business following a 17-year long career in construction and property, said the company is projected to hit a turnover of £2.6m in 2013.
He added: “Since we established ourselves in the market in late 2010 we’ve gone from strength to strength; in spite of the fact that the industry around us has continued to be restrictive and challenging. I’m delighted with how we’ve performed and the way we’ve accelerated sales so greatly.

“We’ve continued to win a diverse range of projects because we’ve carved out a reputation as being different. We have been able to find a niche that helps us cater for the requirements of the property industry as it continues to battle against the ongoing challenges of the macro economic environment.”
