Clough & Willis launch professional negligence claims team

LAW firm Clough & Willis is branching out with the launch of a professional negligence service.

The Bury firm’s new offering, for individuals and businesses, is being led by Chris Macwilliam,  partner and head of Clough & Willis’ personal injury/litigation team.

The firm will pursue cliams for clients who have received wrong or bad advice from professional service suppliers including solicitors, accountants, architects, estate agents, surveyors and IFAs.

Mr Macwilliam said: “Launching a professional negligence service was the next natural step for us as over the past 12 months we’ve seen a large spike in the number of enquiries asking for advice around professional negligence.

“People are more aware of their rights and are now prepared to act when they receive damaging or costly advice from those they put their trust in”.

Managing partner Shefali Talukdar added: “As a firm, we’re always looking at how we can add value to our clients and also develop our offering. This launch demonstrates that commitment as it sits perfectly alongside our existing departments.”
