Europa extends outsourced deal with RSA

EUROPA, the outsourced building and facilities management company, has extended its agreement with insurance giant RSA.
The £140m+ turnover Salford Quays-based group, will provide energy and environmental management services to 18 of the insurer’s UK sites.
As part of the new agreement, Europa’s Energy and Environmental division will provide supply services including procurement, billing and validation, utility invoice services and automatic metering and targeting to RSA.
In addition the 3,500-strong company will ensure legislative compliance in the form of Carbon Reduction Commitment, energy audits and regular review meetings.
Greig Brown, chief executive of Europa said: “We have secured the deal to provide these specialist services in the face of competition dedicated to the energy industry and as a holistic energy and environmental package this complements the existing services we deliver for RSA as part of a comprehensive total facilities management solution.”
The original three-year deal with RSA was agreed between the two parties in April. This includes building management, mechanical & electrical, fabric, project management, help desk, cleaning, hygiene, catering, hospitality, vending, reception, security, porterage, space planning, car parking, grounds maintenance, waste, pest control and health & safety.
Europa’s biggest bluechip client is Intu Property Group, which owns the Trafford Centre and a number of other major shopping centres.
