Clothes2Order hits sales landmark

ONLINE workwear supplier Clothes2Order says it has supplied its millionth customised uniform.

The Trafford Park firm has also bolstered its product range as it gears up for further expansion.

Clothes2Order prints and embroiders logos on to polo shirts, t-shirts and sweatshirts for businesses, clubs and societies.

The £4.2m turnover business has seen sales grow after it invested £350,000 to double capacity and upgrade its e-commerce operations.

In 2005 the firm customised just 3,000 items and it achieved 250,000 in a year for the first time in 2012. The millionth order was for the Red Tractor food assurance scheme.

Clothes2Order is owned by the Quayside Group which is controlled by Michael Conway.

He said: “Achieving our one millionth uniform customisation represents a milestone for Clothes2Order and comes as a result of a lot of hard work by our dedicated team and our investment in the business, but we are not resting on our laurels.

“We have ambitious growth plans and we are greatly increasing our product range as part of this strategy, with a focus on sectors such as hospitality, sport and leisure, which are driving much of our expansion.”
