Deadline for In-House Legal awards extended

THE Law Society’s Commerce & Industry Group North West has extended the deadline for its annual In-House Legal Awards.

The awards are sponsored by Manchester law firm Pannone while TheBusinessDesk.com is the official media partner.

Categories include In-House Legal Team of the Year, In-House lawyer of the Year, Young In-House Lawyer of the Year and In-House deal/case of the Year.

There are also three new awards for this year including In-House Legal PA of the Year, HR Team of the Year and In-House Support Services Provider of the Year.

This last category is for companies which provide services to in-house legal teams such as document production, e-disclosure and patent advice.

Anyone can nominate including company managers, directors and professionals from private practice. The deadline for nominations is September 26.

The award ceremony will take place on 1 November 2013 at the Hilton Hotel with around 500 people expected to attend.
