Shaping Cloud and Berg woo education sector

A LEGAL firm  and software development company, have joined forces to help educational institutions implement new technology.

Manchester-based Berg and Shaping Cloud, which both have educational expertise in their respective disciplines will address the technical and legal challenges new technology can pose at a series of seminars.

The agenda will discuss cloud technology; the advantages, legal implications of utilising social media, and tips for ensuring good practice.

Alison Loveday, managing partner at Berg said: “Schools and colleges need to be fully up to speed with the digital age in which we all now live. It’s vital to make full use of the opportunities this brings, but also to head off the legal risks which can be involved.”

Carlos Oliveira, managing director at Shaping Cloud added: “This unique offering will remove one of the main barriers to cloud adoption, by ensuring that professional legal advice is offered at the outset, allowing our clients to be safe in the knowledge that they are safe, secure and compliant within their cloud infrastructure.”

The first Managing the Future of Technology in Education event will take place on  October 30 at City Tower, Piccadilly.
